But once I get my hand down, it seems like not really easy though. A bit dizzy with where to start with. After knowing all those details that we needed to insert into our web page, I started to look after those code. For example, table, uploading a picture and much much more.

The process and method I used is based on what I have learnt in my I.T's class and some additional information which I found through the other websites. Although all those codes somehow it's the same, standardize, but there's a little bit different for a few codes that I have learnt. They can be write in several ways to perform the same thing. But most of the time I used the simplest way to finish my web page.

The tools that I have used included the simple notepad, common web browser-Firefox and some other webpages for reference. There is no obstacle to deal with notepad and Firefox. But what I found messy was I get different kind of code when I try to draw a horrizontal line. Was quite frustrated with that. But thanks God, that I finally found one that is suitable.

Basically, the output of my web page is the simplest way, I think. Not much of fancy fancy stuff. So, there isn't much trouble when I try to create my web page with HTML code. But I found it's quite fun to play with those HTML codes. It's just like a new toy for a 3 years old kid. XD

Regarding to the web hosting, at first I plan to use my friend's server. But I not sure whether my lecturer will accept it or not, cause she mentioned that must be a free web server. So, I end it up using Bravehost that my lecturer suggested. Although she said the web server is not really user-friendly, but when I attempt to use it, I found it's quite good.

Well, my experience about uploading the file into the web server is not so bad. Overall can cconsider as quite smooth. After a few click to explore how the Bravehost operate, I manage to find the wizard setting and upload my codes to the web page. There is a visual and code preview function that I can check from time to time to compare whether my code is sync with what I want. And for the picture stuff, I first uploaded it on my friendster and facebook account and copy-paste the image link through there. I found this way is more conveninet if I upload my pictures to those file sharing webpage. I'm brilliant. Haha.

The only issue with operating my blog, is to create another blog from my previous account. At first I don't know there is something like managing several blog with one registered e-mail. But after attending the I.T class, I found out this way. So, I followed the instruction from my lecturer and created another blog from my previous account which seperate my previous personal blog.

Indeed, from the whole process, what I have learnt is how to write a very basic HTML code. And I'm so proud with it! If there is another same assignment like this, I will make my page more fancy and looks more standard. This is because what I am doing now is just something like very basic and pale-looking. I gonna unleash my creativity to create something which will hit the fame of my I.T class!

Andrew, Serious Andrew

First Post

26 May 2009

Going to start all my job about the first assignment for my I.T class.
Chosen my partner as this assignment need another one to complete.
Wish me luck on that.
